Responsibilities

  • Ability to collaborate with product and test engineers in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Team player with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Participate in test data analysis and ensure accuracy and repeatability of test coverage

Job Requirements

  • Working towards a technical degree such as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar degree
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits preferred
  • Software background in one or more programming languages such as C, C++
  • Proficiency with software/hardware integration including calibration and debug
  • Interest in learning to work with lab equipment (signal generator, VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meter, oscilloscope, audio precision)

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
