General Description

The primary function of this role is to execute E&T Pillar standards including owning training material, skills qualification process, maintain SharePoint documentation system, owns E&T results by maintaining site skills matrix and reporting out monthly results, developing our site E&T functional leaders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coach E&T Functional Leaders on E&T systems and processes.
  • Work with E&T Functional Leaders to close gaps in training.
  • Support E&T Functional Leaders.
  • Communicate E&T related information to E&T Functional Leaders.
  • Manage the training request system.
  • Provide weekly training completion report to all departments.
  • Maintain the plant Skill Matrix.
  • Scans and uploads training records as needed.
  • Manage
  • Create and update E&T related SOPs and OPLs as needed.
  • Assist with Step Up Card revisions.
  • Ensures Step Up Cards are maintained and up to date in SharePoint.
  • Facilitate annual Step-Up Card reviews and updates.
  • Ensures training material is maintained and up to date in SharePoint.
  • Facilitate annual review of training materials.
  • Coach employees on proper documentation procedures.
  • Articulate SME.
  • Workday SME.
  • Workday Learning Partner.
  • Support others in use of Workday Learning.
  • Support the Development/Execution of training materials for the site.
  • Support and model SQMS work system behaviors.
  • Preserve Smucker culture.
  • Workday Learning Partner.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application including Word, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable of Articulate 360 suite.
  • Strong grammar and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated and can work accurately and independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Detail oriented and able to effectively multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Able to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions.
  • Able to drive group decision making.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Build relationships at all levels within the plant.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and lift. The employee is required to stand and walk at minimum 90% of the time.
  • The employee must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
  • The employees must occasionally lift/push/pull or carry up to 60 pounds and should be able to lift 35-60 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • The employee must be able to squat or kneel and to bend on a frequent basis.Work at heights above 6 feet, climb ladders, and operate elevated devices such as aerial, crane, and scissor/boom lifts on a frequent basis.
  • The employee must be able to tolerate exposure to flour and yeast, oils, and peanut butter as well as other materials.
  • The employee must be able to climb steps on a frequent basis.
  • Repetitive motion, reaching, handling/feeling frequently (60-90% of the time).
  • Hearing protection required.

Vision

  • Employee is required to have a minimum of 20/40 vision in each eye with or without corrective lenses.The applicant must pass a standard eye exam.

  • Noise level is moderate to high; hearing conservation program required.
