FIU-After-School All-Stars is seeking passionate and talented Summer Instructors for its College Impact Summer Program. The Instructors are responsible for developing/implementing engaging, 6-week lesson plans, managing classrooms, ensuring safety of students, and facilitating daily implementation of session. Summer subjects will include but are not limited to: high school STEM, Law and Justice Studies, Creative Arts, Financial Literacy and Workforce Development, Health& Wellness, and Personal Development Teaching responsibilities require presence at the FIU Biscayne Bay Campus during program hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:30pm (specific hours for instruction will vary). SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop course curriculum, daily lesson plans and prepare materials. Supervise students and follow the site-specific behavior management plan when disciplining students. Complete daily attendance accurately. Participate in facilitated reviews and student progress monitoring meetings for attendance, academic and social-emotional learning.
