Senior Recruiter (Construction)

Position Description:

The Senior Recruiter will proactively drive and be responsible for researching, developing and executing an effective and proactive Talent Acquisition strategy, which aligns with and supports the company's business strategy. The incumbent will report into and work closely with the subsidiary HRBP and be responsible for the application process through to the selection and on-boarding.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Responsible for maintaining BONDs ATS and monthly talent acquisition reporting.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, diversity goals and the needs of the organization.
  • Maintains job postings and advertisement processes.
  • Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
  • Develops and manages the preparation of interview guides and questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Organizes, attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions and other networking opportunities.
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
  • Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8 years of experience recruiting
  • Proven track record of successfully filling roles with high-quality candidates in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Construction Industry experience
  • Proficiency in using ATS and CRM systems as well as data analytics tools
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, partner, and build effective working relationships with internal partners in a constantly evolving environment
  • Highly organized, process- driven and detail orientated with superior prioritization skills
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
