Position Description: The Field Engineer/Assistant Superintendent's primary role is to help site supervise, oversee, plan and ensure the success of the construction job. The Assistant Superintendent will continuously monitor and supervise the operations, and subcontractors, reporting the progress of the project to the Superintendent. The Assistant superintendent has a responsibility to support the Superintendent and the Field Team to successfully meet the time, quality, and financial obligations of the job in a safe environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
