Scope of work

Responsible for integration of rehabilitation services, care delivery and programs across the continuum, coordinating and collaborating closely with Corewell Health Hospitals to ensure streamline and standardized care. Works collaboratively with the director to assure alignment of services and smooth transitions across the rehab continuum, in the acute and post acute settings. Analyzes and resolves inefficiencies and inconsistency of care across rehabilitation services. Plans, administers and manages staffing, productivity, finances, quality and programming ensuring that patient care is provided according to established standards of care and practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of rehabilitation (Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech & Language Pathology) or five years of leadership experience in the field of rehabilitation or equivalent Required.
  • Master's degree Management or Healthcare/Public Administration or MBA Preferred.
  • Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through 5 years of related experience Required.
  • 5 years of relevant clinical experience in the field of rehabilitation or comparable field Required.
  • MI Physical Therapist Assistant Required Or
  • NB-COT COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant Required Or
  • MI Physical Therapist Required Or
  • NB-COT OTR Occupational Therapist, Registered Required Or
  • ASHA Speech Language Pathologist Required
  • MI Driver's License Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
