Position Highlights: Position: Telemetry Tech Unit: Central Telemetry Location: Main Hospital, Arlington Heights IL Hours: 3pm-1130pm Shift: Evening Part time/Full Time: Evening Shift 20 hours per week What You will need: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school. Participation in the studies of the field of Applied Science Cardiology or completion of paramedic program preferred. Completion of basic ECG interpretation course, with strong arrhythmia recognition skills required. General Summary: Reporting to the Clinical Director of Cardiac Surveillance Unit and under the general supervision of the team facilitator and CSU leadership team, the Telemetry Technician assists the professional staff by monitoring, reporting, and documenting patient's cardiac rate and rhythm. Properly identifies patients receiving telemetry monitoring and provides patient instruction and safe patient interactions.
