Staff Physician - General Cardiology & Spanish Speaking General Cardiologist

NORTON HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is recruiting boarded or board eligible general cardiologists to join its established group, which consists of 50 board-certified cardiovascular physicians, more than 45 advanced practice providers and 200 support staff.

The Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is a progressive group of practices that maintains more than 57% of the total cardiovascular market share, more than any other health care provider in our service area. It offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, including specialized programs for electrophysiology, structural heart disease, advanced cardiac imaging, cardio-obstetrics and advanced heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support and cardiac
rehabilitation.

About the position general cardiology opportunity:

• Must be fellowship-trained and board-certified or board-eligible in general cardiology

• Opportunity to provide telemedicine from 11 referring sites

About the Spanish speaking general cardiology opportunity:

• Must be fellowship-trained in general cardiology and board-certified or board-eligible in general cardiology
• Spanish as first language preferred

The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
