Responsibilities NORTON CHILDREN'S MATERNAL-FETAL MEDICINE, a part of Norton Women's Care and Norton Medical Group, is seeking a fellowship-trained and board-certified or board-eligible physician to join its growing practice in Louisville, Kentucky. This provider will join a comprehensive, collaborative team of six maternal-fetal medicine physicians, high-risk OB/GYN physicians, 10 advanced practice registered nurses, two advanced practice registered nurses certified as diabetes educators, two clinical dietitians, two nurse navigators, two social workers, a genetic counselor and 27 sonographers,four of whom are certified in fetal echocardiography. Our physicians provide services at Norton Hospital, which is connected by pedway to Norton Children's Hospital, a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center with a 101-bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU); and at Norton Women's & Children's Hospital, which offers a full range of pregnancy and newborn care and has a 44-bed Level III NICU. Both hospitals offer 24-hour obstetrics hospitalist services. Norton Children's Maternal-Fetal Medicine provides specialized care through offices in Louisville and outreach clinics in Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, and Paducah, Kentucky, with telemedicine services ensuring consistent, high-quality care across all locations. The team collaborates closely with Norton Children's pediatric specialists to develop personalized care plans for newborns requiring specialized treatment, including detailed fetal development assessments and seamless care coordination. The Norton Children's Maternal-Fetal Medicine Perinatal Center offers comprehensive high-risk pregnancy management services, including a neonatal follow-up clinic, the Norton Maternal Opiate and Substance Treatment (MOST) program, obstetric ultrasound, and the Wendy Novak Diabetes Institute Perinatal Program - all in one collaborative space.
