Job Description:

Part Time EMT needed for new 8 Hour Truck added to OCEMS
The schedule will be 5p-1a 7 days a week with one week consisting of (3) 8 hour shifts and one week consisting of (4) 8 hour shifts.

Sign on Bonus available commensurate with experience:

$3,000 for full time Automatic incentive

Paid 100 percent at 6 months of service

$1,500 for part time Automatic incentive

Paid 100 percent at 6 months of service

$500 for PRN Automatic incentive

Paid 100 percent at 6 months of service

Job Details:

Responds to an emergency call, assesses the situation, obtains a basic medical history and physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital.Utilizes necessary medical equipment to treat the patient and ascertains the extent of their injuries or illness.Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient's condition, status, and arrival time.

Job Requirements:

• EMT-B certification required through the Kentucky Board of EMS
• Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License
• Current BLS required
