VTG is looking for a Network Engineer in Chantilly, VA.

Required Skills

- TS/SCI with Poly required

- BS Degree
-Administrating Linux systems using terminal commands
-Windows Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft System Center environment (Configuration Manager, VMM, DPM)
-Maintaining patch levels, virus definitions, firmware, and software updates for Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and virtual machines
-Maintaining patch levels, virus definitions, firmware, and software updates for Cisco network switches
-Supporting project (hardware and software) development teams from startup to transition to operations
-Building workstations, laptops, and servers, to include adding or replacing hard drives, RAM and graphics cards
-Reconfiguring workstatinos, laptops, and servers, to include adding or replacing hard drives, RAM, and graphics cards
-Communicating technical details, issues, and system outages or degradations
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Desired Skills
-Managing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco ACI network architecture, Nexus 9000 series switches, and Cisco APICs
-Experience with HPE Blade Centers with Virtual Connect Networking and HPE DL series servers
-Windows Server Datacenter and failover clustering for high-availability file servers and virtualization
-Linux deployment and baseline management using Foreman
-Maintaining HPE 3PAR and other storage fabrics
-Configuring HP Z-series workstation hardware and bios
-Maintaining CentOS and Windows baseline operating system images used for building new servers, workstations, and virtual machines
-SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle database administration
-Hyper-V, QEMU, and VMWare vSphere virtualization
-Maintaining Microsoft Exchange server and Skype environments
-Supporting security documentation for projects
-Familiarity with Sponsor's A&A process and packages
-Familiarity with developing A&A packages and ability to lead through A&A lifecycle
-Familiarity interacting with the ISSM office for project waivers and approvals for hardware/software not currently on the Sponsor's baseline
-Cisco certifications
