We are looking for a highly motivated IC Design and Verification Engineer to contribute to Diversity Receive (DRX) designs. You will work with other analog/RF IC and module designers for simulation and making measurement of IC. #Li-SG1

Job Responsibilities

  • LNA and RF switch design and verification using Cadence tool.
  • Generate RF top verification bench using Cadence
  • Measure performance in the labusing spectrumanalyzer, network analyzer, signal generator
  • Experience in lab measurement automation and evaluation board design will be useful.

Qualifications

  • BSEE and 8years of workexperience required, MSEE preferred.
  • Familiar with using Cadence virtuoso with experience in schematic editing.
  • Must have experience and knowhow of using Spectre, APS, AFS, EMX (and or HFSS).
  • Familiar with Hierarchy Editor.
  • Knowledge to deal with convergence issues.
  • Knowledge of ADEXL.
  • Knowledge of using Ocean scripts to automate simulations.
  • Experience with Smith chart, load and source pulling, RF matching, transmission lines in both simulation and lab environment.
  • Familiar with Virtuoso layout editor.
  • Knowledge and experience withRF related layout especially for High Power Switches and couplers.
  • Familiar with the different analysis types including but not limited to S Parameter, Harmonic Balance, Transient, AC, DC.
  • Familiar with lab equipment such as Spectrum analyzer, Network analyzer, Signal generator, Oscilloscopes, DC power supply, etc.
  • Familiarity with taking lab measurements like Gain, Noise Figure, Harmonics, IP3, etc.
  • Ability to sort through data and present data in a concise manner.
  • Ability to use Excel, Power Point and Word.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$112,500 -$215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
