Location: Lee Memorial Hospital Department: Cardiovascular Services Work Type: PRN Shift: Shift 1/ to Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$36.48 - $36.48 / hour Summary"Performs high quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance to the policies and procedures that are provided by the Lee Health cardiovascular department. A Level 1 (primary vascular) sonographer must specialize in non-invasive vascular testing. Sonographer must be proficient in carotid duplex, lower extremity venous studies, lower extremity non-imaging arterial studies, lower arterial duplex, and pseudo aneurysm evaluations. The position requires varied shifts including weekend rotations and ""on call"" rotation as determined per specific department needs including holidays, weekends and evenings. Portable exams are done based on patient need. Demonstrate flexibility in learning all equipment. Have an understanding of sterile procedures, isolation precaution techniques, infectious hazardous materials, sharp instruments, and defibrillator equipment." Requirements Educational Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or diagnostic medical ultrasound program. Extensive experience may substitute training. Experience Requirements
