Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Department of Neurology is recruiting a Pediatric Neurologist to join our expanding faculty.
Fellowship training in Pediatric Neurology is desired. The successful applicant will help educate trainees, provide care for complex pathology, and join a quickly growing clinical and research enterprise. The Department collaborates with an extensive array of health care providers across the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences units.
Applicants for this position must be able to perform at a high level both clinically and academically. Salary will be commensurate with ability, training, and experience and demonstrated prior performance. The duties for this position include but not limited to the following:

  • Participate in Pediatric Neurology calls and weekend rounds at UH (approximate ratio 1:3).
  • Participate in Floor Service at UH (approximate ratio 1:3).
  • Supervise and provide care in at least one full-day resident-run UH ACC Clinic weekly session.
  • Develop a Pediatric Neurology treatment focused clinical practice, approximately 4 sessions per week
  • Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Develop a clinical research focus within the Child Neurology realm
  • Complete medical records and submit all charges timely.
  • Complete Medicare time studies and other documentation required in a timely fashion.
  • Other duties as determined by the Chair in support of the Department of Neurology.

Minimum Education and Experience
Candidates are expected to be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
Certifications/Licenses
Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Eligible for NJ medical license required.
