The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, New Jersey Medical School, located in Newark, NJ, has a multi-disciplinary research program that encompasses clinical and basic research in multiple divisions, including Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecologic Cancers. We invite applications for full time, tenure-track and non-tenure track appointments at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are currently recruiting candidates with expertise in all aspects of biology, including cancer, genetics, immunology, and inflammatory disease, who seek to advance the field of women's health through multi-disciplinary clinical-basic-translational research. The position will be supported by a competitive start up package with exceptional candidates being considered for further support as Chancellor Scholars.

Minimum Education and Experience
Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, post-doctoral experience, excellent communication skills and a record of scientific productivity. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level should have a substantial trajectory toward developing a rigorous, externally-funded research program. Candidates at the Associate Professor level should have a national scientific reputation, current research funding and a history of mentorship and leadership.

Statement
The mission of the Department of OBGYN & Reproductive Health includes teaching, research, clinical care and service to the institution, local environment, state and country. Our mission includes teaching Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health to medical students, residents, physicians. Our role is to advance knowledge in the field of clinical medicine as well as the basic science of pregnancy and reproduction through research. We provide clinical care to our local community and consultative care in our sub specialties to the State. We also provide leadership in our field, both locally and nationally

The Center for Cell Signaling encompasses a multidisciplinary and collaborative group of researchers exploring innovative ways to answer questions in biology at the molecular, cellular, systems, and organismal level, with a focus on signal transduction. The Center for Immunity and Inflammation is a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative center with laboratories dedicated to researching allergies; chronic autoimmune diseases; fungal pathogens; pain management; sepsis; and toxoplasmosis. Core resources include flow cytometry and cell sorter
capability for BSL-2 and BSL-3 infectious disease research, histology, confocal, live-cell imaging, animal facilities including a nationally-designated BL3 laboratory and animal housing facilities, and an applied genomics center.
