The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University, New Brunswick is seeking an outstanding candidate with existing extramural funding for a non-tenure track research faculty position specializing in clinical psychology. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or related field by the appointment start date. We will prioritize recruitment of candidates that demonstrate research excellence in areas of clinical science that complement and/or expand the current research foci of our department (e.g. tobacco and substance use, anxiety and stress pathology, behavioral medicine, suicide prevention). Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining an active, extramurally funded research program, including publication of peer-reviewed manuscripts in high-impact journals and presentations at scientific meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience
The successful candidate is expected to:
* Have a doctorate in clinical psychology or related social science field
* Have an established, active program of research grants and publications related to any field within clinical science
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Successful history of obtaining extramural grant funding and/or demonstrable potential to obtain extramural grant funding
* Established record of publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals and dissemination of results through presentations at scientific conferences
* Strong skills in data management and statistical analysis, including advanced knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, R)
* Evidence of capacity to maintain an active research lab, including participation in and supervision of research activities (e.g. recruitment of study participants, data collection), adherence to IRB protocols, management of research staff, and mentorship of undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate students
* Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to promote strong departmental and interdisciplinary connections
