Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and repair indoor and outdoor tanks (BC-012)
- Repair and clean caddy units and work on filter machines
- Pump tanks and grease lines to units
- Wire units (low voltage)
- Shop duties, rebuild equipment, clean area up, set up for next install, and restock trucks with material needed in van for service
- Rebuild equipment (training provided)
- Work with tools supplied and be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to take instructions from manager and work on your own
- Travel to customer locations and service equipment
- Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
- Follow department and company procedures
- Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
- Other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the business. These responsibilities may change from time to time are business needs evolve over time.
Requirements Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Professional Certifications, Education, Experience and Travel Requirements
- Requires valid driver license with acceptable MVR and medical card
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing
- Operate and maintain cable machines in a safe manner
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to complete written reporting of routes sheets for billing
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, overnights and "on call" shifts; regular shift Monday-Friday unless notified 7 AM TO 3:30 pm
- Local travel requirements; less than 5% overnight travel
Physical Demands/Requirements: Constantly (over 2/3):
- remains in a seated position while using arms, legs and observation to operate vehicle
- maneuvers around (walks, climbs, stoops, kneels, crouches) kitchen equipment, roof tops and various limited and confined spaces
- operates, observes and monitors equipment
Frequently (1/3-2/3):
- communicates with co-workers, customers and supervisors
- moves, lifts, pushes and pulls equipment and material up to 70 lbs
- operates electronic devices such as GPS equipment and phone/radio/tablet
Occasionally (under 1/3):
- exposed to outdoor weather conditions
- exposed to materials that occasionally require use of PPE such as gloves
- moves across wet/slippery and uneven surfaces
- electronically and manually completes logs/reports
