The Clinical Supervisor provides direct patient care and supervises the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

The 9T Cardiology Medical/Surgical Unit is dedicated to providing the highest-quality, most compassionate care to cardiac patients and their families. This is a 32-bed unit designed to provide 24/7 care to adolescents, adults, and a geriatric patient population with acute illness or varying stages of receperation from dignositc, therapeutic, and/or surgival intervantion. We treat a diversity of patient with alterations of the cardiovascular system, including those with: heart failure, cardiomyopathy, ACS/Angina/Chest Pain, NSTEMI, Coronary Artery Disease, Arrhythmis Dysfunction, perpheral vascular disease, and DVT.

Tower Cardiology is also capable of providing care to patients who are post diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac device implant and Electrophysiology study and/or ablation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

  1. BSN degree
  2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  3. One (1) year of experience in clinical specialty.
  4. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  5. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
