As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training and experience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continual adjustments of gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure. Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures. Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements. Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production. Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation. Comply with company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas. Helps perform routine preventative maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math, reading, and computer skills. High awareness toward safety. Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking. Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary. Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs. Eye/hand coordination. Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Experience operating high speed manufacturing equipment. Troubleshooting skills. Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking to processes and equipment. Ability to use a tape measure. Experience with hand tools. Complete production documentation (paper and electronic): Production logs, Quality inspections, Down Time tracking. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math, reading, and computer skills. High awareness toward safety for yourself and others. Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team or individually. Preferred Qualifications: Extrusion experience College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary. Ability to operate hoists, pallet jacks, and other related equipment. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs. Eye/hand coordination.
