You have completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 3 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Experienced Neutronics & Safety Analysis Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the PWR Codes & Methods Development Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include performing steady state initializations on core and system models for pre-transient conditions, executing coupled models to simulate a chapter 15 transient in accordance with a new Framatome methodology, analyzing and documenting results, programming new or revising existing codes and automation tools associated with coupled safety analyses, and working with multi-disciplinary teams to support Interfacing with other engineering teams to ensure successful customer delivery. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $82,000 - $111,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
