Position for a motivated, team player with frequent travel opportunities on a small antenna team located in Welcome, Maryland. Candidate is responsible to assist with the design, analysis and development of cutting-edge RF solutions for aerospace applications from HF to Ka band. Candidates must be US citizens and hold a US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities:


  • Conducting technical trade studies related to communications links
  • Defining communications system requirements
  • Identifying critical technology elements
  • Performing RF circuit analysis and design
  • Developing communications subsystem integration and verification plans and procedures


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • 1-2 years of experience with aerospace RF and communications system design, analysis, integration, and evaluation
  • Experience working with large aperture antennas
  • Experience working with multi-discipline teams (hardware/firmware/software) to produce advanced RF solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers is required
  • Candidates must have the ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, perform trade studies, conduct major design reviews (e.g. PDR, CDR)
  • Extensive/frequent travel required for this position
  • Experience with RF modeling and simulation tools (e.g. HFSS, Genesys) required
