DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position necessitates proficiency in multiple trades, with varying working conditions and leadership responsibilities contingent on the location and task at hand. You will be responsible for establishing work methods and procedures, as well as receiving assignments verbally or in written form, sometimes accompanied by sketches or diagrams. In addition to repairing doors, door frames, and furniture, you will construct temporary partitions and utilize a variety of carpentry tools. Painting and decorating building interiors, engaging in masonry work, setting up and maintaining plumbing fixtures, and working on electrical circuits and lighting fixtures are integral aspects of the role. Furthermore, you will be tasked with equipment repairs, overseeing helpers, fixing roofs, and welding and brazing metals using different techniques.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
