As part of HVAC Cooling, SPX Cooling Technologies is a leader in high quality industrial HVAC equipment used to cool large facilities like hospitals, data centers, and power plants. With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions. How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Global Business Development Mgr, Data Centers & Technology, you will lead global business development activities to drive sales growth of evaporative cooling towers and fluid coolers in data centers and semi-conductor manufacturing facilities (digital technology applications) with particular focus on data centers. While the role has global oversight, the primary focus will be North America and coordinating activities with international sales teams. The person will act as the global vertical market manager, working with our regional sales teams to achieve revenue and profit goals from sales of cooling towers and fluid coolers into digital technology applications. His/her key activities will include developing and driving execution of strategic growth plans in the assigned vertical(s), developing and executing on key account management plans with the goal to develop and strengthen Marley relationships with key decision makers (including key end users, OEMs, contractors and engineering consultants) in the assigned vertical, and developing market intelligence (including market, customer and technology trends and competitor analysis) relevant to driving sales growth in the assigned vertical. The selected candidate should have a demonstrated track record of actively growing sales, driving key account management, and developing sales strategies in digital technology applications. The ideal candidate would have experience of selling engineered products in data center applications and have connections with key decision makers in the industry.
