Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $64,480 - $77,327. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by experience level. See Postdoctoral Scholar Scale for the salary range. "Off-scale salaries", i.e. a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated experience, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. Application Window Open date: July 17, 2024 Most recent review date: Friday, Nov 22, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Jan 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Kvon Lab (https://www.kvonlab.org/) in the Department of Developmental and Cell Biology at University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for a NIH-funded Postdoctoral Scholar position. The successful candidate will work on several projects aiming to understand mammalian enhancer regulation in the context of the 3D genome, human congenital disorders, and mammalian evolution (see Kvon et al. Nature Reviews Genetics 2021, Kvon et al. Cell 2020, and Kvon et al. Cell 2016). The projects will involve using cutting-edge mouse transgenesis and genome editing techniques as well as genomic technologies such as Hi-C and multiome and scRNA-seq. A strong background in analyzing sequencing data in any model system is preferred but not required. The Kvon Lab is a member of Center for Complex Biological Systems (CCBS) and NSF-Simons Center for Multiscale Cell Fate Research (CMCF). The Kvon Lab is committed to mentorship and career development for all of its members.
