Database Administrator I

Remote only within the State of Florida

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, skills and experience:

• 4 years of job-related experience as a Database Administrator is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in configuration, installation and maintenance in the following products:
• Cluster services, MS SQL Server, Devops, Azure Database, on prem version 2016, 2019 and 2022, Installation of Service packs and cumulative updates.
• Experience in the use of:
• SQL Server Management Studio.
• SQL Server Profiler.
• SQL Server Management Studio Reports.
• SQL Server Performance Studio.
• Redgate SQL Prompt.
• Database Engine Tuning Advisor.
• Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance is required.
• Experience with database management best practices required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience monitoring systems for issues and propose methodological solutions required.
• Ability to use and support other applications and infrastructure technologies (3rd party backup software, monitoring tools and reporting solutions).
• The ability to work in a team-oriented environment is required.
• Work independently without requiring constant guidance from your supervisor.
• Security Certification from ISC2, GIAC, ISACA, preferred.
• Experience developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans required.
• Experience in the use of MySQL Workbench.
• Experience with change control management and interfaces for database and application migrations.
• Experience or exposure to working with the .NET Framework
• Experience in the Health Care Industry preferred
• Azure Database Administrator Associate certification required or obtained within first six months of employment.
• Thorough understanding of relational database operations, cloud infrastructure and maintenance required.
