Description As part of the Providence Philanthropy South Division shared services team and under the direction of the Executive Director of Donor and Community Engagement - South Division; the Senior Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to advance our philanthropic efforts along with a focus on promoting community health and health equity initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of healthcare philanthropy, and a passion for driving positive change in underserved communities. Specifically, this role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey our organization's philanthropic initiatives and impact across the state of California. Through exceptional leadership and continuous process improvement the senior director, philanthropic and community health communications will play a critical role in deepening the Foundations' relationships with their donors, community and inspire philanthropic support. The Senior Director will lead a team of caregivers responsible for 14 ministries across: Northern California, Los Angeles, Orange County and High Desert markets. The senior director will provide vision and strategic direction to the team to provide best in class communications - by way of clear articulable process, strategy, expectation, and the like. The Senior Director must work collaboratively and strategically with ministry, divisional and system leadership to advance our communication efforts throughout Providence. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
