Job Details
The Patient access/Admissions representative will assist with patient registration. Interviews patients to collect demographic and financial data. Creates the patient record used in medical treatment and the collection of accounts. Work Location: Washington D.C. Full Time Evenings 2pm-10:30pm MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma with one year of office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience and/or knowledge of the health care setting to include medical terminology and insurance billing is preferred. Must have knowledge of automated admission, discharge and transfer information system, PC proficiency, and computer data entry skills. CPR required and/or obtain within 30 days of hire Salary Range: Minimum 18.00 per hour - Maximum 30.18 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
