Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Re-entry Programs, provide wide-ranging academic advising and holistic services to stop-out and other types of students seeking to complete a University of California (UC) undergraduate education. Applies professional concepts and provides prescriptive advice on academic policies and procedures for the University of California Reengagement Consortium (UCRC) degree-completion initiative. Receives assistance on more complex issues. Guides prospective and current students through pathway programs for re-admission or transfer to UC as well as other types of education such as certification. Assists the Associate Dean, Assistant Director, and others in planning and development of office policies and procedures designed to optimize the delivery of advising and academic support services to our student population. Make decisions on academic pathways, late course actions and other matters of similar import for individual students. Works with Undergraduate Education, Office of the University Registrar, Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Business Services, Transfer, Extension Enrollment Advisor team, and other related student affairs offices to facilitate students through pathways to degree or certificate completion.

The full salary range for the Enrollment and Degree Completion Advisor is $51,600 - $87,000 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $65,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
