Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $74,100-$195,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Applications sought from candidates with strong laboratory research backgrounds and specialized training. This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Rank determination based on qualifications and experience. Basic Qualifications: PhD or PhD/MD or its foreign equivalent. Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with novel optical microscope and laser medical technologies, physics, and optics to integrate various new optical technologies into current systems. Knowledge of lasers, photonics, applied optics, thermal imaging techniques, and laser alignment through various optical configurations, including microscope.
