Receiving - Evaluator Pole transformers (Specialist)

Evaluator - Single Phase product

This position is responsible for the testing, and evaluation of pole mount transformers.

• Perform incoming and outgoing tests as needed.
• Evaluate various types of units; including visual inspections, using testing equipment, and taking pictures as needed.
• Maintains internal quality standards and compliance with all safety factors.
• Able to train all aspects of area specific to assembly work per customer specifications.
• Operate tablet and tablet functions according to job.
• Tag and stage units for the pole line to work.
• Keep area organized and clean.
• Updating the computer system with information on the units.
• Communicating with other departments on the results for customers and distribution of the units after evaluation.
• Working with work orders and matching with labels on units.
• Hoist operation- Unloading incoming Recycle and Repair transformers.
• Match incoming transformers unit information and assign inventory control number.
• Sort incoming transformers- Scrap and Inventory.
• Tag incoming transformers according to oil pumping guide and PCB content.
• Forklift operation move material around as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma/GED, preferred.
• Experience with small hand tools.
• Technical skills are a plus.
• Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.
• Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
• Help team members resolve questions and help with the work load.
• A dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
• Professional language and conduct at all times.
• Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
• Experience with excel preferred.
• Physically demanding position, constantly standing up and kneeling down to read labels on units.
