What you will be doing: As an HR Generalist at Johnson Outdoors in Eufaula, Alabama, you'll play a pivotal role in managing daily HR activities, employee relations, learning and development, organizational design, and total rewards. You'll contribute to creating a positive work environment and supporting the company's growth. Johnson Outdoors is home to Humminbird, America's favorite fish finder. With over 40 years of experience, Humminbird provides cutting-edge sonar technology, accurate lake maps, and charts. The collaborative work environment fosters innovation, employee satisfaction and fun company events. You will be responsible for executing and supporting a variety of human resource functions including recruiting, benefits, talent development/training, employee relations, compensation, succession planning, compliance, safety and record management. You will also provide guidance to management and employees on routine to moderately complex human resource issues, concerns, policies and practices in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
What you will need to succeed: Education: Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business management or equivalent. Experience: Typically requires 2 years of human resources experience in administering multiple of the following functions: recruiting, benefits, talent development/training, employee relations, compensation, and succession planning.
