Transcript Hello. My name is Don Viterelli. I am one of the hospital based radiology managers. I oversee the cat scan M. R. I. And ultrasound departments here in radiology. Um One of the most unique parts of my day coming to cooper is that I never know what I'm going to walk into. Um Which makes it very exciting because I love problem solving. I love helping out my coworkers. I love working with other department heads to try to provide the best patient care and also to ensure that our patients have the best outcome possible. Um The other part that I love is that everyone that I work with is part of my family, my second family, my home away from home family and I enjoy working with every single one of them and I really appreciate the care that cooper gives to its employees and to their patients and I'm happy to be part of this team. % buffered

Short Description Directs daily activities within the department. Facilitates employee orientation and training. Performs area specific QA/QC procedures. Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept. Assists physicians with radiographic procedures. Performs various operations using radiographic and associated equipment. Maintains patient records via appropriate system. Performs patient care functions in a safe environment. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Substantiates status of good standing with state and national licensing/credentialing Interacts effectively with all customers. Assists staff and students in the performance of radiographic procedures and associated Participates in the evaluation of staff and students as needed. Assists with the transportation of patients, maintains work area and performs basic clerical Experience Required Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation Education Requirements HS diploma or equivalent License/Certification Requirements Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT. Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License. Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License. CPR certification. Apply
