In this role as the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit. From managing staffing and personnel to monitoring the environment, driving performance improvement, and mitigating risks, you will be a key leader in ensuring the provision of exceptional care. Collaborating closely with the Nurse Manager, your insights and communication will contribute to long-term problem-solving and strategic planning. Furthermore, this position offers an opportunity to mentor and manage a dedicated team, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and excellence in the clinical care environment. Your guidance will be instrumental in promoting professional growth and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Zayed 9 West which is our Comprehensive Transplant Unit. The Johns Hopkins Hospital Comprehensive Transplant Unit is a 32 bed adolescent/adult surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate levels of care. Care and services provided: post-operative abdominal organ (kidney, liver, and pancreas) transplant recipients; as well as medical management of complications secondary to transplantation. This unit is the designated step down for the Composite Tissue Allotransplantation (hand & face) recipients. What Awaits You:

Salary Range: Minimum 48.32 per hour - Maximum 74.90 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
