Position description The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach undergraduate or graduate in all areas of Mechanical Engineering. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The availability of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Positions may range from 33% to 100% time. The university/department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service. The posting will remain open until March 31, 2025 to accommodate department needs. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required at the time of application. Preferred qualifications An M.S. and a demonstrated record of teaching excellence is preferred. Application Requirements Document requirements Curriculum Vitae - Your most recently updated C.V.
