Check out our link to our awesome benefits - Johns Hopkins Benefits Enrollment \| Your benefits virtually (mybenefitsjhhs.com) Position Summary: The Mechanic II will perform all necessary functions in the operation, preventive maintenance, and repairs of building air handling units, fan coil units, and other equipment in a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to HVAC systems. Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and diagnose various equipment issues, disassemble machines, and repair or replace broken parts. May orders replacement parts and equipment with management approval. Inspects completed repairs. May repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc. Shift: Part-time (20 hours per week) Every Saturday & Sunday, Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm Weekend Work Required Location: Sibley Memorial Hospital, 5255 Loughboro Rd, NW Washington, DC 20016 Education/ Experience HS Diploma or GED 3 or more years of related experience.
