Our Center for Transgender and Gender Expansive Health offers comprehensive, evidence-based and affirming care for transgender youth and adults that is in line with the standards of care set by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Surgical Physician Assistant to join the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The department covers a wide variety of patient care activities including gender-affirmation surgery, breast reconstruction, trauma, lymphedema, extremity reconstruction, hand surgery and complex surgical wound care. These surgeries often require collaborative, multidisciplinary care. This position will support the Medical Director for the Center for Transgender and Gender Expansive Health's busy reconstructive surgery practice. Shift: Full-Time (4 10-hour days M-TH) Day shift No nights or weekends No call Specific Duties and Responsibilities: The Physician Assistant will be responsible for the following job duties:
The PA practices within the guidelines of the unit department and institution and in accordance with the PA-Physician Written Agreement required and approved by the state of Maryland. The Physician Assistant is granted affiliate staff privileges by the Johns Hopkins Hospital Education requirement:

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15 per hour - Maximum 82.38 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
