Slitter/Washer Production Operator- Vulcan Aluminum Mill

As a Slitter/Washer Operator, you will be the gateway to excellence in our production process. You'll load metal coils onto the slitting/washing machine using a forklift to prepare both the coil and the machine for production. The coils are slit while details such as knife depth, gaps for gauges and tempers are monitored. The coils are then unloaded from the rewind turnstile and packaged for shipment..

Qualifications:

Ability to work an 8 hour shift rotation (days and evenings)

Ability to read and comprehend applicable part prints and similar schematics preferred.

Ability to read and follow complex production orders and understand applicable trouble shooting practices preferred.

Ability to utilize heavy equipment based on established protocols and job related needs preferred.

Knowledge and ability to use manufacturing related control panels and applicable tools preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
