Job Description
Position Overview This position is part of TCS's IoT and Digital Engineering business, focusing on driving growth in IoT and engineering services for customers in drive manufacturing process transformation across plants. The candidate would drive sales, manage high-value accounts, and build partnerships for services spanning product engineering, software, hardware, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience shaping proposals, building strong client relationships, and driving sales while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create business opportunities and enhance value for clients. Goals * New business won - total contract value * New logos won * Large deals won Responsibilities * Lead, sell, and manage engineering, manufacturing, and IoT solutions and services across process manufacturing transformation services, edge-to-cloud IoT platforms and applications, and product lifecycle management services. * Drive pipeline development and manage sales cycles to closure, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion by positioning IoT and engineering services to prospective and existing clients. * Build and maintain account maps, identify high-potential opportunities, and strategize go-to-market plans with technical and sales leadership. * Engage senior client executives, engineering leads, and procurement stakeholders to build long-term partnerships. * Monitor account performance, lead business reviews, and support relationship management to expand the service footprint. * Represent the company at industry events and build visibility through thought leadership and client engagements. Qualifications * Extensive relevant industry experience, including substantial business development experience shaping and selling large-scale technology solutions. * Experience and deep domain knowledge in process manufacturing industries, automation and controls, off-road equipment, machine builders, and related areas. * Experience positioning offerings and developing and presenting proposals, value propositions, business cases, and complex deal structures. * Knowledge of electronics and embedded product development cycles, including hardware, firmware, VLSI, mechanical engineering, test and validation, and manufacturing. * Strong technical skills and the ability to engage customers through consultative selling.
