Qualifications

Required qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years LVN experience - Minimum of 3 year of experience in a dermatology environment or 3 years of experience in a surgical environment - Familiarity with the process of prior authorizations to obtain specialty biologic medications. - Must have worked in a medical team consisting of several providers and an administrative assistant, knowing in-basket management, assisting with medication refills, coordinating services, and scheduling appointments and procedures - Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office. - Ability to prioritize work efficiently and independently, demonstrating strong self-initiative. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and personnel at all levels. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to use an electronic medical record. - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred qualifications: - Phlebotomy certificate - 3 years of dermatology experience License/Certificate: - Active Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the State of California - Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
