Inside Sales

Interstate Bearing Systems is a market leader in the bearing and power transmission industry. For over 50 years, we have excelled at providing solutions and adding value for our customers. Growth is a critical component of our business plan, and we are currently looking for a Bearing Sales Representative to help us in that growth.

Salespeople fulfill a critical role in our operations. Interstate Sales Representatives are the front line of presenting our products to the industry. They are responsible for developing networks and industry contacts, promoting our value-added products and services, keeping customer satisfaction a priority.

Pay Range: $20-$25/hour DOE

Job Duties:

• New business development through inside sales efforts
• Maintenance of existing accounts
• Manage interdepartmental activities throughout the sales process
• Continuous promotion of products and services offered by the company
• Invoicing and sending out quotes
• Warehouse organization and inventory management
• Shipping and receiving

Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Industrial bearings and power transmission
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
• Ability to excel in insides sales through teamwork

Requirements for Bearing Sales:

• 1-3 years of industry experience preferred but not required
• Strong customer service background
• Computer skills, work with Microsoft Office
• Minimum of a high school diploma
