Experience Required: Minimum 1+ Years Direct Hemodialysis Experience

Licensure / Certification: Current National CCHT (NNCC) or CHT/CCNT (BONENT), plus active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant - Dialysis Technician (CNA-DT / MBON)

Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and are transported to outpatient clinics three times a week-placing a significant physical burden on patients and adding avoidable costs to the healthcare system.

DaVita SNF Dialysis (DSD) brings high-quality renal care directly on-site to residents inside an intimate, modern 6-chair dialysis den located at 20111 Century Blvd, Ste C in Germantown, MD. In this role, you partner directly with a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver life-sustaining hemodialysis without the chaos of large chronic clinics or hospital transport delays, backed by all the capabilities, technology, and resources DaVita has to offer.

In this role, you take direct ownership of ongoing patient care to ensure each resident's dialysis treatment stays safe, comfortable, and on track.

• Direct 1-on-1 Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day providing hands-on, high-touch dialysis care. Perform sterile cannulation of complex AV fistulas and grafts, monitor vital signs and treatment tolerance, and ensure resident comfort and dignity.
• Autonomous & Independent Setting: Work hand-in-hand with your Den RN inside an intimate 6-chair suite. You will apply your core clinical skills to monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, track fluid removal, and respond quickly to clinical changes.
• Technical & Machine Operations: Set up, prime, disinfect, and troubleshoot Fresenius hemodialysis machines (2008T / Bibag). Maintain water treatment systems across central water treatment rooms and portable Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, completing daily water quality testing and strict infection control protocols.
• Holistic Care & Coordination: Assist residents with comfortable transfers, pre- and post-treatment weight measurements, and collaborate closely with SNF facility care teams and nephrologists.

• Predictable Schedule with Work-Life Balance: Primarily Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday (TTS) operating schedule with every other weekend / Saturday rotation (~12-hour shifts), NO Sunday shifts, and NO overnight on-call.

Must Have:

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Clinical Experience: Minimum 1+ years of direct hemodialysis experience (in-center chronic, hospital acute, or SNF setting).
• Certification & Licensure: Active National CCHT (via NNCC) or CHT (via BONENT), along with an active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant - Dialysis Technician (CNA-DT) credential (or eligible).
• Life Support: Current BLS / CPR certification.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to commute to 20111 Century Blvd, Ste C, Germantown, MD 20874 and work a primarily TTS schedule with rotating every-other-Saturday coverage.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation / EMR (MS Office / Word / Outlook).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in preceptor, training, or healthcare education roles.
• Familiarity operating Fresenius 2008T machines alongside central and portable RO water treatment systems.
