Job Summary Summary Responsible for assisting with patient care, including organization, clean-up of treatment areas, and office duties as needed under the direction of a licensed therapist (OT, PT, or SLP) or supervisor. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Assists therapists and assistants with patient care. -Assists in the daily upkeep of the physical environment, linen, and equipment maintenance. -Meets regularly with Rehab staff to update therapy programs and assess effectiveness. -Is alert for patient safety at all times. -Cleans therapy mats daily, utilizing established departmental procedures. -Assist the Rehabilitation Therapist with treatment as directed. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize/prioritize. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong patient/customer service skills. Ability to assist with medical examinations and procedures. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
