Now Hiring a Manufacturing Tooling Engineer Location: Wayne, MI Pay Rate: $31.96 per hour Schedule: Flexible/rotating hours as needed; fully onsite Put your manufacturing and tooling expertise to work solving complex assembly challenges. We are seeking a Manufacturing Tooling Engineer to support torque integrity, fastening processes, power tooling, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role partners with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly performance. Job Duties Troubleshoot torque, fastener, joint, and assembly tooling concerns Lead root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions Conduct Torque Process Potential Studies (TPPS) and joint analysis Establish and optimize power tool requirements and settings Support Atlas Copco, Stanley, multi-spindle, and handheld tooling Document torque and tooling changes in TISS/TPPS systems Support tooling installations, error proofing, and process improvements Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams on assembly concerns Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong technical troubleshooting, leadership, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of handheld power tools and manufacturing assembly tooling Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work flexible or rotating hours Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of power tool process implementation experience preferred Fastener, joint, and tooling optimization experience preferred Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance Apply Now Ready to make an impact on manufacturing quality and tooling performance?
