Bulk Lab Chemist

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science field preferred.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices, analytical testing, and quality control principles.

• Minimum 1-2 years of Quality Control laboratory experience required, preferably in an analytical testing environment.
• Experience performing wet chemistry analysis and physical testing on bulk materials.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Experience using laboratory instruments such as auto-titrators, color analyzers, particle size analyzers, microscopes, and TOC analyzers preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with low to moderate noise levels.
• Must maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace.

• Perform physical and analytical testing on in-process and finished bulk products, including viscosity, pH, specific gravity, and organoleptic evaluations.
• Conduct wet chemistry testing and analytical methods following USP and customer specifications.
• Approve batch adjustments and release finished bulk products upon completion of required testing.
• Prepare laboratory batches and issue adjustment recommendations to production teams.
• Perform color matching, particle size analysis, water testing, and reagent preparation.
• Conduct laboratory equipment calibration checks and troubleshooting as needed.
• Evaluate line start-up and finished product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, GLP, cGMP, and SOP requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and management teams to support efficient operations and continuous improvement.
