Position Title: Lab Technician / Assistant
Work Location: Tucson AZ Assignment Duration: 12 months Shift: Mon - Fri 7AM - 4PM PST Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: * The Lab Technician / Assistant II is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of diagnostic laboratory equipment and slide scanning systems * The Lab Technician / Assistant II Lab Assistant/Technician responsible form maintaining and servicing diagnostics lab equipment or slide scanningKey Responsibilities: * Support laboratory experiments and research activities * Prepare lab materials and samples for testing * Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards * Assist with data collection and documentation * Maintain lab inventory and equipment Qualification & Experience: * Previous experience with equipment maintenance * Experience with hand tools * High attention to detail * Experience with Excel or Google sheets * Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment * Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field) * Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks. * 2-5 years of experience * Strong problem-solving skills * Excellent communication abilities * Knowledge of industry best practices Preferred (Optional) * Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred | |
