Cook I - Macau Kitchen Asian cuisine (Must be multilingual in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin)

Responsibilities:

• * Ensures each order sent out is uniform.
  * Controls food production to include:
  * Proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, seasoning and ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared foods and leftovers.
  * Prepares for a rush period of work without getting behind.
  * Take responsibility for duties or station.
  * Other Duties as assigned

• Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Target Salary Range:

• $24.36 Hourly

Six months experience as a cook's helper preferred. (preferred)
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques. (preferred)
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment. (preferred)
Prior experience as a cook required. (required)
