Staffmark is seeking dependable and hardworking Big Box Associates to join our warehouse team in Moody, Alabama. This position involves handling large or bulky products, loading and unloading freight, palletizing merchandise, and preparing products for storage or shipment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Duties

• Load and unload large or heavy products from trucks and trailers.
• Move, sort, stack, and organize merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Palletize products and prepare shipments for distribution.
• Use proper lifting techniques and follow warehouse safety procedures.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Assist with inventory movement and other general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work efficiently with team members to meet daily productivity goals.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, loading/unloading, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, (50-75 lbs) carry, and move heavy or bulky products throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
