- Preparing, submitting, and maintaining waste profiles for each waste stream, including hazardous waste determinations per 40 CFR 262.11 using generator knowledge and/or analytical data, assignment of applicable EPA waste codes (D, F, K, P, U), and Texas waste classification and coding (Class 1, 2, 3)
- Maintaining the facility's TCEQ Notice of Registration (NOR) on an ongoing basis, including adding, updating, and inactivating waste streams and waste management units, and keeping generator status current
- Collecting representative on-site waste samples from drums, totes, frac tanks, roll-offs, and process residuals using EPA SW-846 sampling methods, with proper containers, preservation, holding times, labeling, and chain-of-custody to accredited laboratories
- Reviewing and interpreting laboratory analytical results (e.g., TCLP, RCRA 8 metals, VOCs/SVOCs, flash point, pH/corrosivity, reactivity, TPH) against regulatory thresholds, Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) treatment standards (40 CFR Part 268), and receiving facility acceptance criteria to select compliant, cost-effective disposal options

- Managing live waste inventory for the 90-day accumulation pad and on-site bulk containers (frac tanks), tracking accumulation start dates, volumes, and container condition so no waste exceeds the 90-day accumulation limit
- Building outbound container loads, including staging, segregating, and consolidating compatible wastes, lab packing chemicals, verifying container integrity, closure, and labeling, applying DOT segregation (49 CFR 177.848) and load securement, and performing a quality control inspection of each load before it leaves the site
