About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our North American sales team. This is a player-coach role where you will guide a team of four specialized sellers focused on driving revenue through professional services and consulting engagements for Google's cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions, including Google Workspace, Gemini Enterprise, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The team's primary focus is growing and expanding our footprint within small and medium businesses (SMB) and mid-market enterprises, identifying new opportunities and deepening existing customer relationships across the Google ecosystem.

You will be responsible for the overall performance of your team, including managing a robust sales pipeline, delivering accurate forecasting, and ensuring pristine opportunity management within our CRM. A key part of your role will be to cultivate a strong, collaborative relationship with Google's sales leadership to align on strategy, drive joint sales motions, and accelerate deal closures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales specialists to achieve and exceed their sales targets. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning

• Market Growth & Expansion: Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing accounts within the SMB and mid-market segments, positioning Google Workspace, Gemini Enterprise, and GCP solutions to meet customer needs.
• Pipeline & Forecast Management: Take full ownership of the team's sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure. Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts to leadership.

• Opportunity Management: Ensure all sales opportunities are meticulously documented and managed in our CRM system, guaranteeing data accuracy for reliable reporting and forecasting.

• Strategic Google Alliance: Act as the primary point of contact for Google sales leadership across Workspace, Gemini Enterprise, and GCP. Collaborate on opportunity inclusion, strategic deal management, and joint go-to-market initiatives to maximize revenue.

• Sales Execution: Guide your team in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Provide hands-on support in customer meetings, proposal development, and contract negotiations.

• Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Implement strategies to optimize sales processes and team performance.

What we're looking for:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management or team lead role.

• Domain Expertise: Proven track record of selling professional services, consulting, or enterprise software, preferably in the cloud or AI space. Experience selling Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace, Gemini Enterprise, or other SaaS/cloud productivity solutions is highly desirable.

• Google Ecosystem & Technical Acumen: Strong working knowledge of the Google product ecosystem, with the technical fluency to understand and articulate the value of these products to customers.

• Market Focus: Demonstrated success growing and expanding revenue within SMB and mid market segments.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team.

• Sales Acumen: Expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline (e.g., Salesforce)
