About the Job

The Promotional Priority Period for current Teamster applicants begins Friday, October 2, 2026 and ends on Friday, October 9, 2026.

The Stores Specialist/Receiving Individual is responsible for receiving and storing all product that comes into the kitchen. They are responsible for accurate documentation of deliveries and temperatures. The Stores Specialist plays a pivotal role in the safe and organized operation of the kitchen.

This position may be designated as essential. This position is represented by the Teamsters Bargaining Unit.

Work Schedule: This position has an event-based schedule, so the hours will vary depending upon the events scheduled.

Location and Work environment: On-site at Huntington Bank Stadium.

Please note, this position is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. This position does not offer a STEM OPT training program.

Primary Responsibilities

The following list of duties does not include all possible tasks and responsibilities, nor limit the assignment of additional related tasks including tasks typically performed by a lower classification.

  • Receive and inspect goods: Verify quantities and quality against purchase orders/packing slips, and report discrepancies or damaged items.
  • Inventory control: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform cycle counts, conduct full inventories, and update managers of current levels and/or needs.
  • Storage and organization: Place received items in correct storage locations, ensure proper labeling, and maintain clean, safe storage areas.
  • Documentation: Complete receiving paperwork, signoffs, and reports; take photos of damaged goods; ensure all paperwork is completed by end of day.
  • Equipment use: Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
  • Quality and safety: Follow safety rules, use PPE, and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have at least 6 months of relevant experience in warehousing, storekeeping or inventory methods
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Reads, writes, understands and communicates in English
  • Must be able to stand up for 4 hours at a time
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations
  • Knowledge of stockroom and stock control items, methods and procedures, inventory procedures, inventory record maintenance, common clerical procedures, standard abbreviations used in shipping and designating weights and measures as required
  • Soft skills: Strong communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail. Must be able to keep self on task.

Continued employment in this position is contingent upon:

  • Passing brand training during the probation period.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $23.17 - $30.12 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment: 100% Appointment, 12 month

Position Type: Non-Faculty Labor Represented Staff (Teamsters Local 320)
